Conference | Barry Lynn Gives Keynote Speech at OECD's International Conference About "Confronting Planetary Emergencies"

 

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) features Open Markets Executive Director, Barry Lynn, at their New Approaches to Economic Challenges (NAEC) conference, “Confronting Planetary Emergencies - Solving Human Problems.”

Building on the 2018 and 2019 OECD conferences on “10 Years After the Crisis” and “Averting Systemic Collapse,” this discussion focuses on the possible changes in analysis and action needed to tackle planetary emergencies and to ensure the resilience of global systems. 

Representatives of OECD Committees and Directorates examine how Member countries are responding to the current pandemic and how prepared we are to confront future planetary emergencies.

Along with Barry, the conference features a long list of world-renowned economic thinkers, policy makers and political leaders.
